Entertainment Area

The remit for this job was to create a modern, sleek entertaining space, but also keeping a feel of traditional country garden. This was achieved with the material choices, the porcelain paviours providing clean, modern lines and the dry effect wall and timber pergola providing a bit of a traditional feel.

We created ‘spaces’ in this area for different uses. The pergola houses a large dining table for those summertime al-fresco meals with glass balustrade and venetian screening providing shelter from prevailing winds.
The central border feature splits up a large expanse of paving and creates another area, which will be home to outdoor sofas for those relaxing evenings.

The dry effect wall was created using stone paving setts on their edge and is something I really enjoy building.
